QXGA Image Format 2.5 Times Larger Than Full HD

The day and night sensors feature a resolution of 5MP, which corresponds to 2592 x1944 pixels. The image

information is usable 100%, for example, when using the live zoom function. The maximum image size of

a sensor is set to the more convenient QXGA format.

Concept

Image quality is the all-deciding factor for a security camera. As the decentralized

MOBOTIX systems perform video analysis and data storage functions internally, they

are not dependent on the available network bandwidth and possible bottlenecks; for

this reason, maximum-resolution video streams from any number of cameras can be

stored and managed eciently and cost-eectively.
